Electric Central Heating Boilers

Electric Central Heating Boilers designed and manufactured in the United Kingdom

Due to the recent changes in legislation concerning flues and high efficiency boilers that often require a new gas supply pipe, Electric boilers provide a cost effective solution.

In the first instance we will always carry out a property survey to exhaust every potential solution to see if it is possible to install a gas boiler. Often in Tower blocks where the cost of adding a scaffold to the property (or even using and “absailer”) is not cost effective, an Electric boiler offers a viable long term solution.

Electric boiler technology is no longer a small niche industry but rather a growing competitive market where the technology has been developed so that Electric boilers* are now as reliable as Gas Boilers
(*when installed correctly to manufacturers)
Electric boilers with built in hot water operate in the same way a gas boiler operates, other than they use electricity to generate heat instead of gas.

Types of Electric Boilerwhich is best for you ?

Electric Combination Boiler – Heatre Sadia Electromax

Electric Central Heating Boilers1

The Most popular UK Electric Boiler is the Electromax manufactured in the UK by Heatre Sadia Limited, this boiler provides central heating to radiators and High Pressure* hot water.

*Customer requires a min of 1.5bar water pressure & 20 litres per min flow rate

The dimensions of the Electromax are

1480mm high x 550mm wide x 605mm deep

The built-in internal unvented hot water contains 180 litres of hot water stored at mains pressure, if installed to manufactures requirements the cylinder will easily supply enough hot water to several simultaneous showers without loss of flow rate, assuming the customers internal pipe work has been installed correctly.

The Electromax range includes a range of boilers specially designed to be installed and connected to homes that only have under-floor heating, no radiators.

Heating only Boiler – Heatre Sadia Amptec

Electric Central Heating Boilers2

Heatre Sadia Amptc boilers are really versatile, as they are small and powerful. Several boilers can be linked together to create a larger more powerful boiler, the manufacture has created special kits and wiring looms to ensure that when the boilers are installed like this, rather than operate as individual boilers, they all work together efficiently as one boiler.

Important Facts

Water Pressure – this is the pressure/force of the water

Flow Rate – this is the volume of water flowing out of the cold water main taps (assuming the incoming stopcock is fully open).

No boiler whether gas or electric will improve water pressure or flow rate, its simple physics, what goes into the boiler, comes out of the boiler. See picture below

If you would like to operate 2 showers or hot water taps simultaneously – you must have a min water pressure of 1.5bar and even more important a min of 20 litres per minute.

Get this wrong and your shower pressure will fluctuate* when someone else washes up, flushes the loo or puts a washing machine on!

*if you have a non-thermostatic shower, it’s possible the temperature will fluctuate.
