Boiler Installations ….Free Bottle of office made Gin or Rum

This may sound like nonsense or even a gimmick, but don’t stop reading.

In Dec 2012 we bought an Old Bakery to turn into an office for Leakbusters Leak Detection and London Boiler Company, it was a complete ruin.

In 2013 whilst renovating the Bakery and turning it into an office, we made the sad decision to take down the Old Chimney (the previous owners had already taken off/lowered the chimney by 20ft as it was dangerous, there were trees growing up inside it).

After we removed the twin ovens and chimney for safety reasons we were sued by a neighbour who claimed the chimney was his and that he had built it so that he could hang a washing line on it (we’re not kidding).

The lawyers all then got involved and whilst dating the bricks, consulting historians and generally haemorrhaging our borrowed money, they found out that the Bakers made illicit Gin either here in our office or next door in The Grain Store (which we used for storage).

We tracked down the descendants of the Mews and obtained the once illicit Gin recipe which has only 4 botanicals.

We borrowed money to buy the property and renovate it.

This is now just a hobby, our plumbers and heating engineers make, bottle and seal every bottle by hand in our plumbing office.

Old Bakery Gin, Whisky and Rum is now supplied to:

We used this sign as the label for our Gin

We restored the faded Ghost Sign which the Bakers once displayed (it was condemned by Enfield Council as Graffiti and we were ordered to remove it or they would they would get an enforcement order remove it themselves and charge us for the privilege…. A story for another time).
